About SELTTeC
The idea to organise SELTTeC stems from the awareness to discuss issues and challenges in the teaching and learning of English language at various levels. SELTTeC will be the platform for sharing research and English language pedagogy in the 21st century. The sharing can come from English language educators at higher learning institutions, secondary and primary schools in the southern zone. The seminar will also enable the sharing of ideas, experience and contemporary research by the educators, teachers and researchers.
Objectives
The objectives of the seminar are to:

provide the opportunity for English language educators at primary and secondary schools and also higher learning institutions in the Southern zone to share their experience, ideas and research.

enhance research outcome through writing of technical papers for journals, conferences, seminars or any form writing related to one's research area.

create a professional network and knowledge sharing environment among the participants who educators and researchers from institutions of higher learning and primary and secondary schools in the southern zone.

open up opportunities for the participants to conduct research in various new dimensions for common benefits.

establish a continuity in teaching and learning from school level up to institution of higher learning.

improve the culture of appreciating knowledge through information and expertise sharing among the paper presenters and participants.
